A groom’s turban has a lot of significance in Indian Weddings and since this card was from Groom’s side we decided to make it our inspiration. The invite is in 2 parts and is covered with three tone silk fabric with metal motifs and a strip of Swarovski’s running around it. The design of the Kalgi used on top has been inspired from the names of the groom and the bride with the finishing detailing done using an Ostrich feather, which was exclusively imported for this wedding card. A three fold white metal photo frame with an 8k+ Swarovski crystal panel contained the invites for different occasions which could be later used by guests as a picture frame. A crystal tassel and crystal buttons were used to open the other compartment of the card.

The inspiration behind the theme of the invitation is the flower Magnolia. The motif has been created keeping in mind the basic structure of the flower. We have used Pure Raw Silk and it has been crystallized by Swarovski elements to add to the luxury and extravagance to give the Royal Appeal to the invitation. The invitation was featured in Swarovski’s “Unbridled” event held in New Delhi.

The invitation included a box and invites for each occasion along with a silver gift from Frazer and Haws and assorted hand crafted chocolates.

We also gifted a ring box of the same theme to the bride and the groom to hold their rings for the engagement ceremony.

“rādhā-krsna” as the name suggests was designed keeping in mind the eternal bond between Radha and Krishnaji. The invite was from the Groom’s family so we created a lotus which was inspired by the Gita Govinda which depicts Krishanji walking on the bed of Lotus’. The flower was crystallized by Swarovski elements and the box was made from Italian paper with extensive electroplating.

Since Gita Govinda has been depicted in the form of Kangra Art so we decided to re-render the avatars of Radha Krishna on the canvas in the same Kangra style.

The box opened in a book format and excerpts were used from Gita Govinda to portray it as a story of Radha Krishnaji's Love.
