We are all aware of the recent flooding in Assam. It's a nightmare to even imagine how many have been affected by this tragedy. Be it the people there or the one-horned rhinos, lakhs have lost their lives. Nevertheless, 80% of the very well known Kaziranga National Park has been destroyed. Though its not in our hands to avoid or stop such acts of "mother nature", the least we can do is help the ones who are affected. We, the members of ASAD in Delhi have planned to set up a donation campaign (food,clothing or financial assistance) to give out best possible help to the unfortunate ones. We will update you soon regarding this campaign and in the meantime, anyone (Assamese as well as Non-Assamese) with ideas or suggestions of any sort is requested to comment or inbox us. We will greatly appreciate it.
