1. What is the concept of Thriving Thirty by ABSC Analytics ?

Thriving Thirty is the brainchild of Director,Anup Kumar who is from India now settled in Nigeria. Anup has spent close to 9 years in Nigeria.
The objective is to identify the brilliant 30 out of many and place them in industries with decent salary packages or growth in existing organizations.

2. What will happen to the rest of the learners?

Each and every learner will go through extensive training for 12 weeks and receive a certificate.
The Thriving Thirty will go through an extended 4 weeks of customized training including extensive job preparation, internships, acquiring subject matter knowledge before attempting for job interviews with support from ABSC Analytics.

3. What is the criteria to fall under Thriving Thirty?

Since the training will be extensive in line with military training with several activities and curriculum,

-meeting 75% attendance
-Clearing all the quizzes with minimum of 75% score
-Completing short and mini assignments within timeline with accuracy of 75%
-Completing capstone project within time with a score of 80%
-Achieving 80% in business communication skill and data presentation

Selection of Thriving Thirty will not be limited to above criteria
4. Will there be re-training for learners not meeting the passing criteria ?

Only 10% of learners will get an opportunity to attend the next batch at 50% fee. Conditions apply

5. Is it online or offline or hybrid mode of training?

Since this is a very low cost program, ABSC Analytics cannot invest in physical classroom training. This option will open depending upon the response for subsequent batches

6. Is this only for NYSC Corp Members?

No. This program is open to all at N10000 so that everyone can avail this opportunity. Data Science for Every Door.

7. What types of jobs will Thriving Thirty secure?

Thriving Thirty will be trained to secure jobs according to market requirements, job descriptions of companies and skill sets acquired by learners. They will be highly paid jobs. The training has been designed accordingly

8. What will be the training schedule?

Training schedule (timings) will be finalized post registration considering voice of majority. However learners will have to attend at least thrice a week and each session will be 2.5-3 hours apart from 24*7 query sessions

9. Will the sessions get recorded?

All the sessions will have 100% recording and recordings will be uploaded on our Learning Management System right after the sessions (www.abscanalytics.graphy.com). Modules, quizzes, assignments and queries will be handled via this LMS.

10. Can a learner move his/her batch in case of a genuine reason?

ABSC Analytics will consider this on one on one basis.

11. Can we apply for jobs out of Nigeria?

Since the modules provided are of international standard and facilitators holds vast experience of in corporates, learners are expected to apply for jobs across the world.

12. Do we need additional training for applying in markets?

This training if attended with discipline and commitment is sufficient to enter the markets with an average salary package of N2.5 to 3M

ABSC Analytics is transparent, true and does not believe in hidden terms and conditions. There will be no extra fee. We believe in unconditional customer experience

18. Isn’t N10000 too low a fee to believe in this level of training?

This training is not to make profit. This level of program in market will cost you a minimum of USD 1200. The objective is prove that courses are not that expensive the way they are marketed by businesses. This is ensure that every Nigerian gets access to international level of learning without facing financial constraints.
A delivery in a true sense is possible if mentor and learners both are dedicated and committed towards achievements.

20. What all tools and modules are we looking at?
Basic and Advanced level of Python, Excel, Power BI and minimum of 8 statistical machine learning algorithms
for integrating with Power BI/Tableau . Thriving Thirty will also learn SQL and additional 3 algorithms of Machine Learning and exposure to R Studio and Tableau.

Nigeria and other parts of Africa are high in demand for data analysis. What is missing is the skill set. I am exploring an opportunity in Nigeria to set up a physical center for training data science aspirants.

I am looking for partnership with a business preferably a consulting firm. I need two classrooms in any office to start with. Preferred location would be Lagos followed by Abuja. Anyone interested or any reference can always connect. Kenya is the second option.
