How to everify your Income Tax Return and extention of time to everify your return:
Every assessee needs to verify their ITR V acknowledgement within 120 days from the date of filing of the return. There are Six ways to E-verify the return:

(1) Through Aadhaar OTP
(2) By logging into e-filing account through net banking
(3) EVC through Bank Account Number
(4) EVC through Demat Account Number
(5) EVC through Bank ATM
(6) By sending a duly signed physical copy of ITR-V through post to the CPC, Bengaluru

One time relaxation opportunity is extended for AY 2015-16 to AY 2019-20 to everify Previous year Income Tax Returns by 30th September, 2020.

The Income Tax (I-T) Department on 13.07.2020 gave a one-time relaxation to taxpayers who have not yet verified their e-filed tax returns for assessment years 2015-16 to 2019-20. The verification must be completed on or before September 30, 2020.
A taxpayer filing Income Tax Returns (ITR) electronically without digital signature has to verify it using either Aadhaar one-time password (OTP), or logging into e-filing account through net banking, or by Electronic Verification Code (EVC) or by sending a duly signed physical copy of ITR-V through post to CPC Bengaluru within 120 days of uploading the ITR.
