THE MEANING OF THE SEVEN HORSES OF THE SUN.
The seven ancient Rishis, the progenitors of all life on Earth, represent the seven flames of Agni and the seven horses of the Sun. These horses on the positive side created Bhu Lok, the Earth we live on; Bhuvar Lok, the world of air; Suvar Lok the world of planets; Maha Lok, the abode of the ever young ascetics, the Kumaras; Jana Lok, the heaven of deified mortals; Tapa Lok, the abode of Viraj-Devas; and Satya Lok, where Brahma resides.
The seven worlds on the negative side thus created are Atala, the world of sensual women and vain men; Vitala, where Rudra resides with his ghosts and is seated in embrace with consort Bhavani; Sutala, the abode of egoistic persons like Bali who was destroyed by the God Vamana for his pride in the sacrifice; Talatala, where the Asuras reside in their arrogance; Mahatala, the abode of the great serpents; Rasatala, the abode of the enemies of the Gods; Patala, where resides Vasuki and other Lords of the Nagas whose luster from the gems of their hood dispel darkness.
Beyond all this floats Lord Vishnu on the bed of his thousand-headed serpent to carry the entire plan of manifestation. Lord Vishnu is the Preserver who gives unity to the fourteen worlds emanating from the Primodial Fire, the Solar Energy.

In Vedang Jyotisha a human (manushya) is described as a 7 petalled lotus floating in the water Water is the material world. What we commonly call the soul is actually in three parts. Three petals above the water are immortal, they are *soul* (Atma) or life force, *wisdom* (Budhi) this may be considered as the DNA codes of the living & the physical laws of the universe for the inert and *intellect* (Manas) this is found only in humans or Manushya. The four petals submerged in the water are mortal, they are *thoughts* (Vichar), *emotions* (Bhav), *gross body* (Sthool shareer) and *subtle body* (Sukshma shareer). The subtle body is connected to the intellect. Thoughts and emotions are constantly transferred to the the immortal intellect. Upon the death (Deh ant) of the person the lower four petals are destroyed. The upper three petals keep floating above the water (material world) and when the right time comes they sprout the four petals wiz thoughts, emotions, gross body and the subtle body. The stored thoughts and emotions in the intellect (Manas) are transferred to the subtle body and from there to the other three petals.
This keeps happening birth after birth till there is *nothing to transfer* from the subtle body (Sukshma shareer) to the intellect (Manas). In other words no unfulfilled desires, no debts to settle - Moksha. When there is no transfer from the subtle body to the intellect (Manas). The upper three petals merge into *one* they take no further birth. What they do next no one knows.

Covid 19 my take
Many people asked me about the raging Covid 19 and when will it disappear. Normally I avoid talking about transits as they happen regardless of the tilt of the Earth or the point rising on the horizon however I feel I should use my limited knowledge to analyze the transit of the planets and see if relief is promised soon or not. The symbols and mythological tales related to astrology are indicative of the outcome of the events so I am going to bore you with these seemingly unimportant bits besides making the article long.
Covid 19 first started sometime in December 2019 and gathered momentum since then. The Niryana (moving zodiac) position of the planets on the 16th of Dec. 2019 was 1.) Sun entered Sagittarius, 2.) Mercury was in Scorpio, 3.) Mars was in Libra, 4.) Jupiter was in Sagittarius, 5.) Venus was in Capricorn, 6.) Saturn was in Sagittarius, 7.) Rahu was in Gemini, 8.) Ketu was in Sagittarius. Moon can be safely ignored as it traverses the zodiac in 29 days and in the last 3 months it has been in each of 12 signs thrice.
The 12 signs are divided in three groups – the first 4 signs belong to the Rajsik group and indicate action, the next 4 signs belong to the Tamsik group and indicate sloth the final 4 signs belong to the Satwik group and indicate balance between action and sloth.
Sagittarius, the first of the Satwik group of signs was populated by 4 planets on the 16th of Dec. 2019 therefore important, the sign is depicted by mythical Centaur - half horse half man and the man pointing his loaded bow towards the skies this means that the human soul is on its way from animal to man and
the man still aiming higher or evolution of the soul to a higher level. Each sign contains two and a quarter nakshatra and the first nakshatra is the dreaded Moola nakshtra, the symbol of Moola nakshtra is a bunch of roots this indicates a new beginning from the foundation, the deity of the nakshatra is Niritti daughter of Yama (God of Death) she is the Goddess of destruction (barhana shakti), she destroys the material attachments so that the spiritual journey can be embarked upon. Sun which is a natural indicator of the soul is accompanied by Jupiter a natural indicator of wisdom, Saturn a natural indicator of miseries arising out of bad karma and Ketu the lower half of the serpent a natural indicator of storage of all karma. While Jupiter is a friend of the Sun Saturn and Ketu are bitter enemies of the Sun. Therefore it may be surmised that the world will move towards a more balanced approach between action and relaxation, the attached will suffer more due to destruction of material comforts and the past deeds will catch up with the wrong doers in the eyes of the nature.
Another combination which is disturbing is the combination of Jupiter and Ketu this in a natal chart would be called a “Chandal yoga” chandal was a person who was at the lowest level in the society and was usually entrusted with disposing off corpses he would eat things which would make an average person puke – now a days of course the things are different. Ketu being the store house of all karmas being associated with Jupiter which also is for Prajapati who is responsible for creating the universe lets loose the creation which hampers the growth of civilization. Unfortunately Jupiter will part company with Ketu only to come back due to its retrograde motion – Jupiter leaves Ketu on the 29th March 2020 and comes back again on the 29th of June 2020 to again part with Ketu on the 20th Nov. 2020.
This may result in Covid 19 ebbing for some time and then making a comeback to finally leaving us for good after 20th November 2020.
I pray and hope I am wrong and this menace leaves us asap.

Lagna chart, Moon chart, Sudarshan chart and the Niryana bhava chalit chart
Lagna chart shows the degree of the sign and the sign that rises on the horizon. The sign is put in the ascendant and the rest of the signs follow in ascending order in anti clockwise direction, then all the planets occupying the signs at that moment are put in the respective signs regardless of the degrees of the planets. The Moon chart is just as the lagna chart except the sign occupied by the Moon is made the ascendant. Similarly the Sudarshan chart is like the lagna chart except the sign occupied by the Sun is made the ascendant, a major difference is that the ascendant is actually missing in the Moon chart and the Sudarshan chart. In the lagna chart ascendant is the degree of the sign that rises on the horizon just as the Sun rises on the horizon and can easily be said to be the planet Earth. In the Moon chart and the Sudarshan chart Earth is missing? Therefore the Earth is not relevant!?
In the Niryana bhava chalit chart the ascendant is calculated as in the lagna chart but the planets are put in the correct bhava or houses. For example if the ascendant is rising in 17*24’ 46” in Aries and Mercury is in 5*19’23” of Aries then Mercury will be put in the ascendant in the lagna chart but in the Niryana bhava chalit chart it would be in the 12th house and rightly so. The lagna chart should be seen for the sign position of the planets and the Niryana bhava chalit chart should be studied for the house position of the planets, the Moon chart and the Sudarshan chart can be safely ignored.

Case for unequal bhavas (Houses)
The 12 zodiac signs of 30 degrees each compromise the entire zodiac of 360* and are in the sky. The bhavas (houses) are also 12 in number but cover 360 degrees of the sky as seen from the planet Earth, the zodiac and the stars look at different angle from the equator and as one goes North or South of the Equator they appear at different angles. The reason why there are six months of night and six months of day at the North and South poles alternately is because Sun appears at different angle from the poles similarly though not that obviously the other planets too appear at different angles at the poles. This does not happen suddenly but gradually as the place for which the horoscope is made is away from the equator. In casting a horoscope the sunrises at the horizon and is important as the lagna is calculated on the basis of birth time elapsed after the sunrise, to cast a horoscope on this basis would become impossible for those born at the poles. Therefore the astrologer has to seek a method by which he can construct a chart and here comes the case for unequal houses, some houses will shrink and others will enlarge. For easy construction of the chart astrologers use software and I would suggest using Krishnamurthy Phadati or the KP System of casting the horoscope especially of places away from the equator, in Chennai the difference will not be much but for Delhi which far away from the equator the difference will be substantial. The astrologers of South India are considered to be better than the astrologers of North India and this may be due to the reason of unequal houses. The houses are equal at the equator only.
