Recruitment Process in Faculty of Engg. & Tech.

Campus Connect Services is organising a placement drive for Suncore Microsystem on 29th and 30th march.

What is it??
Campus Connect Services is a human resource development and consultancy services provider organization which delves on creating and nurturing best talents from different institutes to place them across various industry verticals.
Suncore recruitment process concludes in two stages comprising five rounds.
Stage 1
There will be three rounds for all and no elimination.
Filling Application form: - Complete and submit the application form carefully. According your applied position specified in the application form, you will be allowed to appear in our written test where we will decide whether your individual skills, experience and qualifications match our requirements.
Round1:
Written test
The duration of this test will be 120 Minutes for all the four sections. Section four is mandatory for all.
Technical: This section will have 30 questions related to basic technical concepts from your opted technical field like C, C++, Java, Dot Net, PHP, RDBMS, Comp. Hardware, Software Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical engineering etc.,
Verbal: This section will have 15 questions related to synonyms, antonyms, Analogies, SC, Prepositions and reading comprehension.
Aptitude: This sections will have 15 questions related to aptitude topics like Time & Work, Time & Distance, Blood Relations, Series Completion, Puzzles, Calendars, Clocks, Percentages, Ratio proportions, Ages, Pipes and Cisterns etc.,
Writing skills: This section will have 6 questions which might be related to your technical, general, social skills, your future prospects etc., the words length of each questions might be 300 words at max.

Candidates are informed to brush up their technical skills which were covered in their regular academic curriculum
Round2:
Group Discussion: This is slightly different form the GD traditionally taken by other companies and here the whole session is divided in two sessions where in the first session company’s executives randomly ask from the program participants to speak about the topics in the pros & cons and this continue till the completion of all the present participants and then in the second session the company’s executives give the time slots of 15 min to all and then observe the speakers and rate accordingly. The maximum duration of this round is approx 30 to 35 Min.
Round3:
Technical Test/Lab Test: This test will be in group of 30 to 40 students as per their desired technical field with respect to their laboratories. The Company technical experts raise technical questions during this round related to their respective field.
Round4:
Inbuilt Talent Test where each applicant is free to choose the task/assignment in his/her interested domain and for that they can use all the resources to complete the task and if they succeed upto the expectation of the recruitment team then there might be the possibilities of their short listing for the next stage of the drive. VLSI/VHDL/PLC SCADA

Core Engineering Task

Stage 2:
After the first stage overall performance only the shortlisted candidates appear in the second stage rounds.

HR Interview
Company Experts judge the personal attributes of the shortlisted candidates and see whether they can be fit in the company’s corporate environment. During this round company HR Team and other experts might raise about the previous rounds of the drive and the overall performance, future planning and other credentials to the company. They will ask you some questions about your life highlight your background, extra-curricular activities, and your time at University and any work experience to date. They would normally question you on your goals, willingness to work in team etc. Generally there would be least elimination from HR round.
