The poetic journey from "Quiz" (as the first answer) to "Dehra" (as the final answer) perfectly encapsulated the day's energy. It was a true privilege to don the hat of the quizmaster at the prestigious Doon School Quiz, especially in front of the quizmaster from my own school days. I hope the day's magic will live on in everyone's memory, for I tried.

After having won the national online round quite convincingly, Spring Dale Senior School from Amritsar would have hoped to make the ~1200km journey to Bhopal as a mere formality to collect the prizes. But the teams from Bhopal were in no mood to relent. Having firmed themselves up from multiple Curo quiz editions of the past, the fight on display by the hosts, SPS (SN), and former champions from Jawaharlal Nehru School stretched Spring Dale till the very last question.

The intensity of the competition proved that schools from Bhopal were always up to the task of challenging the nation's finest; perhaps we (as judges/organisers) were a year or two too late to realise :/
