കൊച്ചി:സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് വൈദ്യുതിനിരക്ക് എട്ടുശതമാനത്തിലേറെ കൂടും. പ്രതിമാസം 100 യൂണിറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവർക്കുപോലും വർഷം 460 രൂപയെങ്കിലും അധികം അടയ്ക്കേണ്ടിവരും. യൂണിറ്റിന് വർഷം 30 പൈസയുടെയും വേനൽക്കാലമായി കണക്കാക്കുന്ന അഞ്ചുമാസം 10 പൈസയുടെയും വർധനയാണ് വൈദ്യുതിബോർഡ് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്.കാലാവസ്ഥാമാറ്റമനുസരിച്ച് രണ്ടുതരം വൈദ്യുതിനിരക്ക് ശുപാർശ ചരിത്രത്തിലാദ്യം. ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച വൈദ്യുതി റെഗുലേറ്ററി കമ്മിഷൻ സിറ്റിങ് ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങും. ആദ്യത്തേത് കോഴിക്കോട് നളന്ദ ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് ഹോമിൽ.വരുമാനനഷ്ടം നികത്താൻ വർഷംമുഴുവൻ യൂണിറ്റിന് 30 പൈസ കൂട്ടണമെന്നാണ് വൈദ്യുതിബോർഡ്, റെഗുലേറ്ററി കമ്മിഷനോടാവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിനുപുറമേ ഉപഭോഗം കൂടുന്ന വേനൽക്കാലത്ത് (ജനുവരിമുതൽ മേയ്‌വരെ) 10 പൈസയുടെ വർധനയും ചോദിക്കുന്നു. പ്രതിമാസം 100 യൂണിറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് ഇതുപ്രകാരം 2024-25-ൽമാത്രം 8.22 ശതമാനം നിരക്ക് കൂടും.

ആകെയുള്ള 1.38 കോടി ഉപഭോക്താക്കളിൽ 1.04 കോടിയും ഗാർഹിക ഉപഭോക്താക്കളാണ്. ഇതിൽ 30 ലക്ഷംപേരും രണ്ടുമാസത്തിൽ 200 യൂണിറ്റ് ഉപയോഗമുള്ള സാധാരണക്കാർ. ഇവർക്ക് രണ്ടുമാസത്തിലൊരിക്കൽ വരുന്ന വൈദ്യുതി ബില്ല് നിലവിൽ 857 രൂപയാണ്.പുതിയ ‌ശുപാർശപ്രകാരം യൂണിറ്റിന് 30 പൈസ വർധിക്കുമ്പോൾത്തന്നെ 360 രൂപ കൂടും. വേനൽക്കാലത്ത് ഉപഭോഗം 250 യൂണിറ്റെത്തും. അഞ്ചുമാസത്തെ വേനൽക്കാല 10 പൈസ വർധനകൂടി വരുമ്പോൾ 62.50 രൂപയടക്കം 422.50 രൂപയാകും. അതായത് വർഷം 8.22 ശതമാനത്തിലേറെ വർധന വൈദ്യുതിനിരക്കിലുണ്ടാകും. ഈ തുകയ്ക്ക് 10 ശതമാനം ഇലക്ട്രിസിറ്റി ഡ്യൂട്ടിയും വരും.
