we want to "increasing participation and quality of life for women at the workplace". Women Matter
Women at the Workplace Matter! Therein lay the conundrum!! It’s A SYSTEM! All these issues are more closely connected than we think they are. It’s the same ecology. We just need to find the bottlenecks (which are easier said than done). But STARWORKS-LEADERSHIP is clear about one thing. It is a System, we need to look at it in a holistic, integrated way that includes the Economic, Social, Technological, Political aspects among others. The solution needs to be multi-pronged as are the issues involved. Which brings us to the next big problem…

What is the degree of COLLABORATION we have among all the existing agencies, working with women and women’s issues today? We have a shared agenda? Or a well-distributed one for that matter. Do we have some best in the world Coaches and Mentoring and large-scale drive for education and awareness of the issues and misconception. Forget the solutions. That would be the next stage. Originally christened The PLUS CIRCLE +O SERIES and now the 16th December Revolution for Women at the Workplace, every wholesome event will take participants back to the drawing board on Specific Problems to trace back event-histories to get to the root cause of those problems. Why are there such few women as you go higher up the Corporate Ladder, or in Ownership of big business, What does it have to do with the way Women at the work place are treated or perceived, What is the nature of gender bias and what are the answers to it. How do different groups of women perceive themselves in relation to the Work/ Business environment??... issues, solutions, action plans, implementation ideas, tracking systems, commissioning of independent research, IMPACT assessment.

The concept of managerial effectiveness has evolved significantly over the years:

Command-and-Control to Empowerment: Earlier models emphasized strict authority, while modern approaches prioritize empowering employees and decentralizing decision-making.

Task-Focused to People-Centric: Traditional effectiveness focused on output and processes, whereas today it emphasizes employee well-being, emotional intelligence, and team dynamics.

Stability to Agility: Managers were once judged by their ability to maintain stability; now, adaptability in the face of rapid change is crucial.

Skill Mastery to Continuous Learning: Previously, having a set of fixed skills was enough; now, ongoing learning and innovation are key to staying effective.

Closed Systems to Open Ecosystems: Managers used to focus on internal operations, but now they operate in interconnected environments, navigating external partnerships, globalization, and technology.
