How do you create more parking when you cannot create more land?
You use the available space more intelligently.
This completed Puzzle Parking Project in Chembur has been designed with 1 pit level below ground and 2 levels above ground, allowing the same land footprint to accommodate approximately 3 times more vehicles than conventional single level parking.
A Puzzle Parking System works by placing cars on movable platforms. These platforms shift vertically and horizontally so that the required parking space can be accessed without needing every vehicle to have a permanent ground-level bay.
This allows a development to use not only its floor area, but also the available vertical volume.
The benefits are significant:
Higher parking capacity.
Better utilisation of expensive urban land.
Reduced need for large ramps and circulation areas.
A compact, practical and robust parking solution.
For suitable applications, Puzzle Parking Systems can also be configured across multiple levels for up to 10 levels depending on site conditions and design requirements, potentially increasing parking capacity by 8–10 times compared with conventional parking.
As Indian cities continue to grow vertically and land becomes increasingly scarce, parking infrastructure must evolve with them.
These are the solutions urban India needs.
In addition to Puzzle Parking, ELEVA offers Stack Parking, Tower Parking, Horizontal Circulation Systems, Shuttle Parking and Robotic Parking Systems for different site conditions and parking requirements.
