THE TIME IS NOW! "You are the change you want to see" You can contribute to a Golden Goa by investing your Time, Energy, Hope & Talent or surplus resources in GOA's positive future or even through other little ways.... a smile at your fellow citizen... a helping hand to a less privileged person or forgiving an old enemy...

We have to think beyond ourselves towards building a global Goan community united in our common purpose of building the GOLDEN GOA of our dreams!

Goa ForGiving is a budding Non-Profit Organization that aims to promote Goa through two initiatives that are exalted by every faith- Forgiveness and Giving. Hence our identity: Goa ForGiving. Our mission:

- To promote the spirit of forgiveness among all Indians and people worldwide through music and cultural shows aimed at spreading the message of peace and love.

- To educate people on the importance of forgiving one-another, regardless of whatever their differences-cultural, social, economic or personal.

- Reach out to various communities residing in Goa and elsewhere in the world through Konkani music and culture to promote peace and harmony.

- Collect relief material and funds for charitable initiatives, especially for man-made and natural disaster affected people.

- Train underprivileged children about the importance of forgiving and giving through music and culture.

- Conduct workshops and educational projects for students and their parents to emphasize the importance of forgiveness and charity, regardless of their personal religious beliefs.

- Promote communal harmony through cross-border cultural exchanges.

- Award unsung heroes of Goa, India and the world through the annual Goa ForGiving awards. Our Vision:
Goa ForGiving will become the flagship of the Goan spirit of Forgiveness and Giving through various activities. We aim to achieve this by involving the civil society, public and private sectors and like-minded individuals by deploying our expertise in music and culture as our weapons to fight social evils. Goa ForGiving will institute annual awards aimed at honoring personalities that have made significant contributions to the public through charity and forgiveness. Our Strengths:
Goa ForGiving is backed by Trancemedia, a globally acclaimed organization that owns two major brands- Konkani Rocks and Heritage Jazz, which conduct music and cultural shows in India and abroad. Our team practices forgiveness and charity in their daily lives and help others inculcate these qualities. In our quest for forgiveness and charity, our catch-line is: “We shall not falter, We shall not tire, We shall not fail.”

Goa ForGiving initiated the Campal Creek Revival project in 2012. A God given Creek which everyone called a nullah had to be brought to the notice of the public, and that is exactly what we have been doing since 2012. Creating various awareness programmes like kayaking, bird watches, photowalks etc. We have continously been trying our best to get the people involved in restoring the Campal Creek to its prestine glory.

Today, the Campal Creek has become an inspiration to save all the waterbodies across Goa, which they too are in need of being saved.

This video shows the effort that we have put in over the years to create awareness for the public to join us in our fight to restore the Campal Creek.

The story of the Mermaid is known to most of us; a priceles porcelain statue that was treated as an ordinary piece of stone.

Goa ForGiving was instrumental in restoring this rare piece of art with the help of Sculptor Ghanashyam Chari and Shirish Desai.

Goa FOrGiving along with the Botaniocal Society of Goa led by Miguel Braganza organised an organic farming workshop at the Gonsalves Mansion in Campal. The workshop was held on the ocassion of Father's Day which was dedicated to Mother Earth.

A lot of us love gardening, but are unaware of the correct method to use. Sir Miguel Braganza did a great job in clearing everyone's doubts. The late Ma'am Mangala Wagle attended the workshop along with her Hamara School children to introduce them to the concept of organic farming, which they later on executed at their home premises.
