He did his graduation in architecture (B.Arch) from N.I.T Patna in 1999. Course on landscape design from school of Planning and Architecture, Hyderabad. Amit kumar started his career in architecture 1999 with Ravi Kapoor as an assistant architect for 2 years. He had been appointed as a faculty in architectural department of N.I.T. Patna in 2002-2005. Also a visiting faculty of interior designer in N.I.F.D. Patna.
