Central personnels / central govt. Employees can now fly via LTC by 25 September 2022 to Andaman and Nicobar, Jammu and Kashmir and Northeast India.

LTC can be taken for these places instead of Home Town LTC.

Government employees will also be able to travel to these places by flights from private airlines.

The center announced the LTC Cash Voucher Scheme for its employees. Cash vouchers will be given in lieu of LTC for the block year 2018-21 due to Covid-19.

According to the entitlement, central employees will be able to take LTC cash vouchers along with the leave encashment. This cash voucher will be used to purchase products and services before 31 March.

The purchase of these products or services will have to be availed from a GST registered vendor, which will attract a GST at the rate of 12% or more. Digital products have to be paid for the purchase of these products or services. The order has been issued by the Department of Expenditure for payment of LTC cash vouchers.
