Darkness thrives equally to light. The balance is beautiful when you mix them just right. Darkness and light to me are your worst and best of times. It could be your best and worst of times too. Depending on your point of view darkness can be beautiful. Light can be shined into your eyes to distract you from horrible intentions too. I’m not religious enough to be a preacher. But I am strong enough to be a leader of my insanity as it becomes clearer. Your beliefs are your own. My beliefs are my own. I won’t force mine on anyone because to me that is the ultimate disrespect. I just write what my soul tells me to at the moment. What comes out will be. What flows will flow. So wherever you are in the world and whatever your personal beliefs are I respect those beliefs. The best way to come together in this cold world is to accept people for who they are deep down. Not just because they believe in the same things as you do. I believe that we are all connected no matter what religious book we read or don’t read. I believe that we are all one entity in this unknown universe. We all have a purpose here. We all have a reason that we are breathing. Be open-minded when it comes to someone that believes in something you may not understand. Be willing to listen and maybe hear them out if only just for a moment. It will mean something to them. You don’t have to share their beliefs. Just accept them for who they are. There is one thing that we all share. Our beating hearts. Underneath our skin, we are all the same. I don’t know about you but compared to 20 years ago my outlook on the world has drastically changed. So no matter what you believe in my friends you are welcome here with me.
