About Caro Cuypers
Caro is a renowned yoga teacher and qualified physiotherapist holding a Master degree in Physiotherapy of the University of Leuven in Belgium and has practised in Belgium and Singapore.

She is a certified Yoga teacher through the International Yoga Alliance. She has taught Yoga in Belgium, Singapore and India.

I got a comment on a post in an Indian expat group from Canada. The person posting the comment doubted the legitimacy of our crowdfunding initiative. If you have any doubt whatsoever, don’t hesitate to contact me. I will gladly talk to you and give you more information and details on our initiative.

Great news! One of the multinationals we are negotiating off take agreements with has expressed its willingness to pay for the testing of our recycled plastic. This will reduce the amount we need to raise with our crowdfunding initiative drastically.

It is clear that this multinational truly believes in us and our product. We will get a definitive yes or no whether they will bear the cost of testing by mid to end of January.

We still have to pay for buying the recyclable plastic, transportation and insurance among others. So please keep donating to and sharing our link:

Hi all, a short update on the progress of our crowdfunding initiative. It is going great! After basically 2 days people have already donated over € 1.300 and we have promises for another € 475. A great big thank you to all who donated and have said they will. SUPER!

Swach BaPRe is an Indian plastic recycling company.

It is our mission to deliver r-HDPE of near Virgin Quality to manufacturers who want to use high quality r-HDPE such as FMCG industry.

Our starting recycling capacity is 10.000 MT per year. We can expand our capacity to 25.000 MT.
The HDPE feedstock will mainly be PCR FMCG bottles.

Swach BaPRe does more than “only” recycling of plastic.

We are driven by compassionate capitalism. This means that we are a for profit company but, Corporate Social Responsibility is also crucial .

We will share our profits with organizations that care for the wellbeing of the waste pickers.

Three of these organizations are Swach Coop in Pune (Swachcoop.com), Aasra Foundation Mumbai and the Indian United Nations Development Program Circular Economy.

In 2018, the waste-pickers of SWaCH expanded their footprint to reach a total of 1,50,000 slum properties, reducing the number of containers and chronic spots in the city significantly.

More than plastic recycling

Another goal of Swach BaPRe besides recycling of plastics is helping Waste Pickers improve their lives. We do this based on our premise of Compassionate Capitalism.

This means that we are a for profit company and at the same time corporate social responsibility (CSR) is extremely important to us.

We implement our CSR by sharing our profits with organizations that care for the wellbeing and improvement of the lives of the waste pickers. Two of these organizations are Swach Coop in Pune (Swachcoop.com) and the United Nations Development Program Circular Economy.

We use state of the art (European) hot wash lines and top end laser filtration (and extruders. Delivering r-HDPE suited for FMCG blow moulding bottles and packaging from 4th quarter 2021.
