Recognizing Entrepreneurs, Enterprises, Individuals and Institutions for their Exemplary Achievements towards Business, Industrial & Economic Growth and Contributions for Society, Community, State and Nation's Building Pride of Pune Awards will brand and showcase the efforts and achievements of entrepreneurs, enterprises, and institutions for the benefit of others and will be the role model for t

he upcoming individuals and enterprises. We are inviting applications from interested Entrepreneurs, Enterprises, Individuals, and Institutions to recognize their achievements, contributions, and initiatives during the last two to three years and especially in the Pandemic period. You may apply as per your profile and specific interest in the following Awards category. Pride of Pune Awards is part of the Pride of Maharashtra Awards and the top winners of the Awards will be specially recognized, as the Pride of Maharashtra Awardees.

• The Brand Ambassador of Pune;
• The Best Corporate of the Year;
• The Best Entrepreneur of the Year;
• The Promising Business Leader of the Year;
• The Best multinational company of the Year;
• The Best foreign company of the Year;
• The Best Innovative Company / Institution of the Year;
• The Best Mid-Sized Enterprise of the Year;
• The Best Medium Enterprise of the Year - Innovation & Inventions;
• The Best SME of the Year;
• The Best Emerging SME of the Year; (Turnover should be above Rs. 50 Crores);
• Family-Owned Business of the Year; (Turnover should be above Rs.50 Crores);
• Women Entrepreneur of the Year (Turnover should be above Rs. 10 Crores);
• The Best Institution of the Year - (Corporates, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Education, HR, IT and other Institutions);
• The Best Start-Up Company of the Year - Innovation & Inventions, product development, Manufacturing & services sector (Turnover should be above Rs. 25 Crores). WHO CAN APPLY? We invite interested individuals, enterprises and institutions to submit applications of their business activities by showcasing achievements and contributions in the various business sectors. The applications will be selected according to the following eligibility criteria and credentials.

 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

 The Enterprises and SMEs should be in operations at least for the last 3 years;
 The Institute should be in operations at least for the last 5 years;
 The CEO of the company should be holding the post for at least 3 years or more;

Unleashing India's MSME Sector Potential

In a recent episode of ET Now's "Leaders of Tomorrow Season 12," Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, Founder and President of the SME Chamber of India, discussed the pressing challenges faced by the MSME sector. He pointed out that while 50% of India's MSMEs are involved in manufacturing, they struggle with high industrial land prices, rising interest rates, a shortage of skilled labor, and difficulties in accessing emerging markets. Although the Government of India has been rolling out various schemes and policies, Mr. Salunkhe emphasized that "the real challenge lies in ensuring these benefits reach the grassroots level.
