During the lockdown, We noticed that there was an excess of vegetables in the market, and the farmers were unable to sell them as restrictions were imposed. Due to the vegetables perishable nature a lot of vegetables were being wasted
We at PEO thought this problem was severe and needed a solution
How do we find a way, in which we remove the perishablity nature of the vegetables but still keeping them edile as well as organic.
Aong with the extravagant use of chemicals in today's farming there's also the issue of farmers committing su***des.
We wanted to address all these issues of wastage of vegetables, use of chemicals, and farmers su***de rates.
After extensive research we discovered the process of solar dehydration.
Starting our experiments with a mere makeshift dehydrator made from a sofa, we have come a long way and evolutioned this process.
