Mishka was presented with a painful right eye that had persisted for over a month, with little to no improvement despite multiple medications.
On thorough examination, she was diagnosed with a non-healing corneal ulcer along with lower eyelid entropion contributing to ongoing irritation.
Given her senior status, we opted for a minimally invasive approach—correcting the entropion using eyelid fillers under sedation, along with corneal debridement using an Alger brush. The debridement had to be repeated three times before the ulcer finally began to heal.
It was a prolonged and demanding recovery, but we eventually achieved a comfortable, stable eye.
