Prediction of longevity on the basis of Prasna (Question) scientific-astrology.

Predicting longevity accurately is a tough task. All the chapters of Astrology like corporate life, Marriage and relationships, child birth, litigation, health, career, business, property and vehicle purchase, education, travels etc have positive and negative houses. Similarly longevity also contains positive and negative houses.
Houses which increase the life of a native are :
1,5,9,10 & 11
Death inflicting houses are :
6,8,12, Badhak( hurdle) & Marak (the end) Houses.
Badhak Houses
Badhak houses are as follows :
1) If the Ascendant is movable i.e. any of the 1,4,7,10 ( aries, cancer, libra, Capricorn) sign is in the Ascendant then the badhak house is the 11th house.
2) If the Ascendant is fixed i.e. any of the 2,5,8,11 ( Ta**us, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) sign is in the Ascendant then the badhak house is the 9th house.
3) However, if the Ascendant is common i.e. any of the 3,6,9,12 ( Gemini, Virgo, saggiterus, pieces) sign is in the Ascendant then the badhak house is the 7th house.
Badhak houses as they are classified by their name appear to give obstacles in the life time of the native. On the contrary they act as death inflicting planets at the time of death only.

Marak Houses
Marak houses are the 2nd & 7th houses in all horoscopes. They act as death inflicting houses at the time of death only.
4th house
4th house in addition to other significances also signify “end of everything”. Hence it is relevant to consider this house here. At the time of death this house also promotes death & transits of the planets in this house are very significant.
Planet
Saturn is the natural significator of death. Saturn plays a major role at the time of death. It is either DBA lord or is conjunct with any of the DBA lord. In transits also it plays major role. It transits in the 6,8,12 or Marak or Badhak houses of the native at the time of death. Pluto also plays similar role more profoundly in unnatural deaths.
Calculation of Longevity
Longevity of a native can be calculated by adding the sum total of life increasing houses (1,5,9,10,11) “A” of seven planets excluding Rahu & Ketu with their Nakshatra & Sub Lords. For Rahu & Ketu only the planet has to be considered. Similarly the sum total of death inflicting houses ( 6,8,12,badhak) “B” is to be arrived in the seven planets & Rahu & Ketu. Formula of the Longevity is as follows :
Longevity( in years) = A / A + B X 120 ( of Vimsottari Dasa ( timer-period) )
where A is sum total of life increasing houses as calculated above. & B is the sum total of death inflicting houses as calculated above. The exception to the rule of longevity is the house of badhak. The badhak houses are to be added to death inflicting houses. The Marak houses do not come into play in the calculation of longevity in the formula.
As stated it is difficult to calculate longevity due to a number of factors like progress of medical science and also what I feel it is nearly impossible to find birth as well as death. However I, myself and my students are working on longevity on the basis of Question astrology and have found in instant questions results are accurate.
Following are the two examples on which I have worked on and got accurate results.
1. In Astrology forum there was a query about whether the boy who went missing is alive or dead?
Question: Is he dead?
I know the title is pretty morbid, but horary is all about clear questions right? So I saw on the local news page I follow on Facebook that a teenage boy went missing yesterday (Wednesday) after he failed to show up for cross country practice at his high school. His lunchbox was found on nearby running/hiking/walking trails this morning (Thursday), but there was no sign of him.

How to Judge Ketu Mahadasha(Main time-period)

KETU DASA
Ketu is considered a malefic (bad) in Astrology nowadays commonly known as Vedic Astrology. People who are running Dasa or major period of Ketu quite often search the effects of Ketu Mahadasha ( main time-period) ( time period) or the results of Ketu Mahadasha ( main time-period) on the net and in the books of astrology. They get varied point of views on the net and in the books. Let us try to understand why there are varied point of views and how can we arrive at the accurate results in Ketu Mahadasha ( main time-period). Everyone on the planet Earth is born with an altogether different horoscope because of the different planetary combinations. Similar planetary combination is repeated after 4800 years approximately.
Now if we have to understand the results of Ketu the placement of Ketu in sign, in house, in Nakshatra ( galaxy / star) and sub lord ( sub-galaxy) has to be seen for the results signified by Ketu. As you know there are various Antar Dasas run in the major dasas (time period). Same will happen in case of Ketu . First it will be sub-period of Ketu, then Venus, then Sun and in the last Sub-period of Mercury will run in the main-time period of Ketu. Results of time-priod of Ketu of 7 years depends also on the Sub-period of all the nine planets. Similarly each Sub-period will have nine sub-sub-period whose results are relevant to arrive on the final results of Sub-periods in the main-time period of Ketu. Results of all the planets depend upon the sign, house, Nakshatra (galaxy) and the sub lords ( sub-galaxy) in which they are placed.
This implies that all nine planets sign, house, Nakshatra and the sub lords longitude of the Ascendant is the key factor in telling the results of Ketu Mahadasha ( main time-period) or Dasa of 7 years. There can be ups and downs in career, sale and purchase of properties, travels, health related problems/ recovery etc. depending upon the other eight planets placement of the planets also. In addition to it transits play vital role in pointing the events of life.
Conclusion is each horoscope will have different results of Ketu and Ketu Mahadasha ( main time-period). Whole horoscope is required to be analyzed for arriving at the results of Ketu. General results written in texts, net, books etc. have no meaning whatsoever.

It was written by sages that Trines or 5th and 9th Houses are called Laxmi Sthan. It gives a feeling that 5,9 houses give money. However when we see other houses significances they provide wealth/ Money in Kal yug.
2 – Accumulated wealth
6 –Job
7 – Business
10 – Name, fame and position.
11 – Gain.
Practically, 5th house is house of love, spirituality, children, progeny, dharma and 9th house signifies higher education, religion and long travel etc. 5th house is 12th from 6th house whereas 9th house is 12th from 10th house. Hence both the houses are negative to income or gain of money or wealth.
Now why 5th and 9th houses are considered Laxmi sthan. As we know Astrology was designed by our sages and according to our sages real Laxmi or wealth is love to all, education, higher philosphy of life, Dharma, Knowledge, Moksha etc.
