⚔️ मराठा शौर्य, राष्ट्रकर्तव्य आणि बलिदानाचा महाकाव्यात्मक अध्याय ⚔️
१️⃣ पानिपत म्हणजे काय?
पानिपत हे उत्तर भारतातील (आजचे हरियाणा) एक ऐतिहासिक रणांगण आहे.
या ठिकाणी भारताच्या इतिहासातील तीन निर्णायक युद्धे झाली.
👉 त्यातील तिसरी लढाई —
📜 १४ जानेवारी १७६१
ही लढाई मराठा साम्राज्य आणि अफगाण आक्रमक अहमदशहा अब्दाली यांच्यात झाली.
२️⃣ युद्धाची पार्श्वभूमी (Background)
🔸 मराठ्यांचा उत्तर भारतातील उदय
छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी उभारलेले स्वराज्य
पुढे पेशव्यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली संपूर्ण हिंदुस्थानात विस्तारत गेले.
दिल्लीपर्यंत मराठ्यांचे वर्चस्व
मुघल सत्ता केवळ नावापुरती
मराठे स्वतःला हिंदुस्थानचे राज्यकर्ते समजू लागले
🔸 अब्दाली कोण होता?
अहमदशहा अब्दाली (दुर्रानी)
अफगाणिस्तानचा सुलतान
भारतावर सतत लुटीचे हल्ले करणारा
दिल्लीवर इस्लामी सत्ता टिकवण्याचा प्रयत्न
🔸 अब्दालीला मराठे का नको होते?
मराठे हिंदुस्थान एकसंध ठेवू इच्छित होते
अब्दाली परकीय आक्रमक होता
अब्दालीला रोखणे हे राष्ट्रकर्तव्य होते
👉 म्हणून मराठ्यांनी उत्तर भारतात निर्णायक लढाई स्वीकारली

अंदाजे ६०–७० हजार मराठे सैनिक

मराठ्यांना स्थानिक पाठिंबा मिळाला नाही
जाट, राजपूत, शिंदे–होळकर यांच्यात मतभेद
पुरवठा मार्ग तुटले
सैन्य उपाशी, थकलेले
४️⃣ अब्दालीची तयारी
अंदाजे ९०–१ लाख सैन्य
रोहिल्ले, पठाण, मोगलांची मदत
पुरवठा मुबलक
वेढा घालून मराठ्यांना अन्न-पाणी तोडले
👉 अब्दालीने थेट युद्ध टाळून मराठ्यांना कमकुवत करण्याची नीती वापरली
५️⃣ युद्धाचा दिवस – १४ जानेवारी १७६१
🌅 पहाटे
मराठ्यांनी शेवटचा निर्णय घेतला —
“आज मरण पत्करून लढायचे!”
⚔️ लढाईची सुरुवात
इब्राहिमखान गारदीचा तोफखाना प्रचंड प्रभावी
अब्दालीची फौज मागे हटू लागली
💔 निर्णायक क्षण
विश्वासराव पेशवे गोळी लागून शहीद
सदाशिवराव भाऊंनी स्वतः रणांगणात उडी घेतली
🔥 शेवट
मराठे शेवटच्या श्वासापर्यंत लढले
असंख्य सरदार, मावळे शहीद
रणांगण रक्ताने माखले
६️⃣ हानी (Casualties)
🩸 मराठे
अंदाजे ५०,००० पेक्षा अधिक शहीद
संपूर्ण एक पिढी नष्ट
🩸 अफगाण
मराठ्यांच्या दीडपट हानी
अब्दाली गंभीर जखमी
परत कधीही दिल्लीकडे वळला नाही
👉 म्हणूनच म्हणतात —
पानिपत म्हणजे मराठ्यांचा पराभव नाही, तर अब्दालीचा शेवटचा विजय!
