Very first thing you need to do identify area where you can implement software solution as RPA is Software Process Automation so when I say software means exiting an or more applications to perform task. Here is question how you can select a task to be automate?

Four pillars to identify RPA enablement

1. Find out Process well define with rule: list down all task potential for automation. Figure out all milestone are software enable and not needed human intelligence to take decision or straightforward base on pre define set of rules to complete the task

2. All data points are digital: selected task must read data from digital source and destinations. E.g. reading scan file then process data and push it to DB, email or printer.

3. No or Definite human intervention: process that is full digital and no further human interaction required also know as unattended Process must be automated.

Process which need exception and approval based on human intelligence must have definite path to handle is called attended Process, it can be automated with user interface to handle exceptional cases.

4. Process must process bulk data need support 24x7

Using these tips you can easily identify process to automate and it also convening to management and their interest
