MahaRERA has approved over 1,060 housing projects in a short span.
At first glance, this looks like a massive boom in real estate.
But there’s more to it.
These approvals are not just new launches.
They include a mix of new projects, extensions for ongoing developments, and corrections in existing plans.
So, while new supply is coming in, many existing projects are also being pushed forward.
The timing is interesting.
With Gudi Padwa around the corner — a period when home buying usually increases — developers are clearly aligning their launches with market demand.
Region-wise, most of the activity is concentrated in:
• Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR)
• Pune
Both continue to drive Maharashtra’s real estate growth.
