Our aka is a perpetual journey and a purpose towards an inclusive society. Our endeavour is a drop in the ocean with a view that flap of a butterfly wing in Brazil can cause tornedo in Texas.

Today, we supported

1. Laxmi whose husband is unable to work due to disabilities and she is struggling with her finances. We gave her handcart and utensils for street food

2. Jayashri whose husband is an alcoholic and unable to support the family. She has two kids to take care. We gave her handcart and will help her in opening separate account to run her business

3. Vandana to open her palour as she has medical conditions with expensive treatment and husband is not able to provide support from meagre income.

4. Pappu (male) who is handicapped and runs his ironing business. We supported him with a bigger Iron that will help him scale up his business.

In the last four years, we supported nearly 400 beneficiaries. We express our endless gratitude to all our donors. Today our Rotary Club of Pune Amanora and Spherule Foundation's joint initiative fulfilled the dream of this class 8 student Siddhi (black Tshirt) to continue with her school education. We cleared her dues to let her persue her studies in the same school. Many poor kids drop out of school due to lack of financial support.

Siddhi's father passed away due and mother works in a clinic with barely any income to manage her home and was struggling to pay the fees. We managed to support her from the generous donations we get from our supporters. Siddhi has sent her endless gratitude to every donor who helped her and promised to excel in her studies. is an initiative we have running for more than a year and have managed to support more than 60 kids so far and wish to do more. May monther nature give us more oppportunities and donors to fufill the dreams of many instead of some.

Yesterday (11-April-2026), we spent a day in the village Kendur near Pune, India to ensure that the village has access to clean drinking water. We installed two water ATMs to filter water and make it available at affordable price. An INR 5/- coin (~5 cents) will generate 20 litres of clean drinking quality RO filtered fresh water. This will generate employment and maintenance of the plant, make affordable clean drinking water available to the village and ensure generation of funds for local governance.

As a part of our project to generate local employment for women, we also supplied four sewing machines. This will be used by village ladies on sharing basis to generate funds for their livelihood. Many of these ladies have been trained and gone through tailoring course and will get the access to machines for 2 hours daily. Depending on utilization and demand we will provide more machines. is a unique initiative of Rotary Club of Pune Amanora and Spherule Foundation to generate employment of poor and needy.

Kendur near Pune city in Maharashtra, India is a cluster of 13 villages. Rotary Club of Pune Amanora has adopted this cluster and driving transformation to the change the lives of people. We do this by creating local communities who act as our touchpoints. Earlier we have provided e-learning kits, computers etc to their several schools. Now we will get the schools painted and improve the washrooms. We will also provide cycle to girl childs who commute long distances to reach their school. The saga of transformation will continue.

We thank our donors for supporting us and our endless gratitude to everyone who helped to reach this milestone.

𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐬: 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

These initiatives demonstrate our unwavering commitment to strengthening rural communities and individuals at the grassroots level.

Our journey began with Kendur Village, a cluster of 13 villages in the Pune district that we have adopted in our Happy Village programme. In our initial phase, we provided essential digital infrastructure: e-learning kits and personal computers, bridging the urban-rural digital divide.

We are actively celebrating the spirit of Republic Day by putting its principles of equality and empowerment into practice. Our future roadmap for Kendur includes crucial next steps:

1. Ensuring clean water by installing advanced water filters.

2. Promoting self-reliance by providing sewing machines to enable livelihoods.

3. Cultivating an entrepreneurial environment to foster local economic growth.

Through these actions, we are not just providing aid; we are building a foundation for a self-reliant and vibrant rural India. This was our approach of celebrating the republic day today on 26-Jan-2026. We created an RCC (Rotary Community Corps) at Kendur to drive our various initiatives.
