The two-year LEAP + Next LEAP journey has been both fulfilling and humbling for us as intervention designers at Element78, and equally gratifying for the facilitators, Manik Damle and Rahul Chaudhari . The old adage, "When the participant is ready, the facilitator arrives," truly encapsulates the essence of this experience. Throughout this long and challenging leadership learning path, the participants remained deeply engaged and committed, despite the demands of their day-to-day responsibilities.
The recently concluded workshop, which focused on the power of dialogue—an essential skill for managers and leaders—was a key highlight. We explored various constructs, frameworks, and practices around difficult conversations, as well as strategies to foster engagement through dialogue.
An integral part of the Next LEAP journey has been the active involvement of the participants' managers. These leaders have played multiple roles: as project mentors, as regular reviewers of the IDPs, as peers in certain workshops, and as genuine well-wishers offering support throughout. Element78 Talent Consulting LLP is deeply appreciative of this partnership, as their commitment was essential in ensuring the success of the program.
Behind the scenes, many team members at Element78 contributed significantly to the smooth ex*****on of the intervention. worked tirelessly to document & analyze diagnostic inputs, while Priti Saikade ensured that workbooks, slide decks, and participant data were meticulously captured. Shweta took over the baton in the Next LEAP initiative, ensuring that facilitators had all necessary participant data for effective preparation. Rahul Paturkar meticulously planned the experiential learning phase, ensuring it was filled with safety, energy, and valuable insights. Maykal worked diligently in the background to arrange materials and kits for the various workshops. Finally, the with Manik and Rahul as co-facilitators was a constant source of energy & commitment, as they often went beyond the brief to ensure participants’ development paths were fully supported.
Typically, in 2-year-long interventions like LEAP & Next LEAP, participant engagement tends to dip over time. However, this was notably absent in our case. While we’d love to attribute this to our meticulous planning, flawless ex*****on, cohesive teamwork, & the thoughtful methodologies we employed, the true credit belongs to the participants themselves. Their unwavering learning attitude & growth mindset were the driving forces behind the success. Their ability to apply new knowledge, collaborate as a cohesive cross-functional team, & demonstrate real-world impact has been consistently observed by their managers & the broader management team. This is a testament to the remarkable evolution of the cohort.
As they continue to grow & flourish in their careers, we are excited to witness & support their continued development.
