According to a survey on married couples done by The University of Michigan (School of Public Health and Psychology): Those couples that fight live longer than those who don’t.

Incredible as it may sound, experts believe that those who are able to openly express their agitation to their spouses, have less bottled emotions, as a result they are less prone to long-term stress and frustration.

Couple who get into the pattern of suppressing their anger suffer from poor communication, interpersonal and social skills. Women are likely to rely on problem solving tactics through medical interventions and men are likely to develop unhealthy lifestyle habits such as smoking.

When conflicts occur, it is crucial to focus on resolving it rather than brooding on hate, which can turn into to irreversible resentment and then resolution becomes impossible.

So the next time, remember to fight it out if you want to sort it out!!
