“Marketing doesn’t work.”
We’ve all heard someone say it.
But most of the time, marketing isn’t the problem.
The problem is expecting marketing to fix something it was never meant to fix.
You can’t market an offer people don’t understand.
You can’t advertise your way out of unclear messaging.
And you definitely can’t build trust if your brand is saying something different every week.
Marketing isn’t the foundation of a business.
It’s the amplifier.
Here’s one thing you can do today:
Ask someone who has never interacted with your business this one question:
“What do you think we do, and who do you think it’s for?”
If their answer isn’t close to what you intended, don’t spend more on marketing yet.
Fix the message first.
Because when people understand you, marketing becomes a whole lot easier.
📌 Save this for the next time you feel like “marketing isn’t working.”
