More than 60+ Enthusiastic participants were taken through sustainability initiatives taken for environment & biodiversity conservation at the campus.

We are looking for 'Fauna Expert', who meets following criteria:

- Primarily able to identify and has knowledge of Birds & Insects (till Group/Family level except Butterflies, Odonates) and Herpetofauna will be an added advantage
- Ability to work in tough & harsh field conditions in North Western Ghats, Maharashtra
- Should commit at least 6 months and preferably based in Pune
- Should have on-field biodiversity survey experience of 2-3 years working in Maharashtra
- Should have completed B.Sc. / M.Sc. in relevant field

Please note: This is not Full-time Job position. This is freelance project basis position.

As the monsoon recedes, we have started installation of camera traps at one of our sites. This remote monitoring technique enables to understand:

a. Mammal species presence data with evidence
b. Number of individuals within selected locations
c. How the area being used by these individual mammal species
d. Population status: Breeding/Non-breeding & health

This data will be further used to design conservation action plan along with protection measures for habitats.

We are looking for 'Flora Assistant' for Tree-Mapping project near, Pune.
(No need have plant identification skills, flora expert will guide)
Project duration: 3 months of commitment is needed, starting from Jan 2022 to March 2022.
On-field working days: Total Approx. 15 days in 3 months.
It will be 'Paid Internship'.

Eligibility:
M.Sc. Botany / Biodiversity / Environmental Science
Ability to work in tough field conditions in North Western Ghats.
Candidate from Pune is preferred.

We are looking for a young 'Nature Photographer' for one of our projects in Pune District.

Applicant must have:

- Own SLR/DSLR/Pro-zoomer camera
- Ready to commit 1 or 2 days in a month on the field for 1 year duration.
- Managing database of photographs taken on the field in a format provided
- Able to work in harsh field conditions and challenging landscape possessing good physical ability
- Assisting Biodiversity experts on the field in photo documentation
- Above 21 years of age
- Preferably based in Pune
- *At least partially vaccinated (1 Dose)
