Our ‘Avani’ is a project that addresses the concept of Sustainable Organic Solid Waste Management. It is a For-Profit social enterprise that aims at achieving Net Zero Organic Waste by recycling the organic waste generated at Temples and Markets. Initially, we are
concentrating on converting the waste generated at temples into products like Organic Compost, Vermicompost, Organic Colours / Dyes, and Incense sticks and cones. Avani's operations are based at Rajahmundry, concentrating on the organic waste being dumped into the river Godavari. Our project converts temple waste into Value-added products using an Integrated Resource Recovery Centre (IRRC) Approach, which is a technology-led waste management mechanism. When fully implemented, our project will contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),

Our primary objective is to solve the social problem of 'Organic Solid Waste Management' by creating social value and bringing social change and a friendly environment. Thereby creating livelihood opportunities for women through Self Help Groups. SHG Women, those who are interested in the processing of floral waste are employed for making handmade products from temple waste.
