VACANCY: GM Marketing & Branding
Reports to: Company Head

Salary: INR 22,00,000 - 24,00,000 P.A.
Location: Bhubaneshwar
The Marketing & Branding Manager will be responsible for Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives. This includes creating and implementing marketing plans for all streams of the business, manage corporate communication, analyze market information and have overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity. The incumbent will be based in Kolkata.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Competencies Skills, Knowledge & Attitude)
1. Experience in Marketing (brand, product or trade marketing) with successful track record
2. Experience in B2C and B2B Sales and Marketing of Lubricants (Automotive, Industrial, Marine) or FMCG industry.
3. Capability to put together business Strategy and Marketing plans. Also have the ability to implement the strategy through the business and functional teams.
4. Demonstrate team working capabilities across functions and diverse teams. Able to successfully engage and work with the staff at all levels both internally and externally.
5. Experienced in managing Marketing and Sales budgets.
6. Bachelors degree preferably with specialization in marketing
7. Good communication and presentation skills in English. Awareness of Hindi and other Indian languages added advantage. 8. Proactive and self-motivated. Supports new business initiatives and contributes new ideas to build long term strategies.
9. Experience in working with Advertising / Creative agencies and capability to negotiate.
10. Project management skills and ability to work under tight timelines
MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION
Developing the marketing strategy for all business streams in line with company objectives Have overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity. Design pricing guidelines and product positioning Design and support various marketing initiatives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop marketing strategy for all business streams in line with company objectives and drive the implementation after gaining acceptance from the leadership team. 2. Have overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity. Responsible for corporate communications, creation, publication of all marketing materials including journals, advertisement, leaflets or print info in packaging and labeling. 3. Facilitate participation in Business Chambers, Associations, Exhibition and Trade fairs. 4. Design pricing guidelines in collaboration with finance and business streams. 5. Support budgeting exercise for all business and manage the marketing budgets. 6. Marketing support to Industrial business through Direct Marketing, Journal articles and other innovative initiatives for the B2B business. 7. Engage with Advertising/ Media/ Creative agencies/ vendors for designing Marketing initiatives and work in accordance with procurement policy. 8. Create new marketing initiatives including mobile app, e-business, digital media and others. 9. Plan and design POP materials, campaigns, promotion, schemes, launch events, dealer meets etc. in collaboration with the Sales team. 10. Streamline Distributor agreements for all streams and connect with Legal as required. 11. Gather market intelligence, competition and business segment information and propose interventions in the sales strategies for short term and long term goals. 12. Communication - Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives. 13. Knowledge management - Sharing of knowledge and transfer of best practices within the organization. 14. Demonstrate a One team approach and ensure over all company's expectations are being met.
