From 22nd to 26th April, our team carried out the second phase of *AQUALINE BHUVANAM "पानी की खेती" BHUVANAM PANI KI KHETI #पानीकीखेती work in the remote Gurdari and Kunjam mines belt of Hindalco Industries Limited under CSR initiative of Aditya Birla Group in Jharkhand,* located in the pristine yet challenging terrain of *Netarhat widely known as the “Queen of Mountains.”* This phase was dedicated to a detailed technical audit of subsoil formation, a critical step in identifying for the communities of the region.
The focus of this audit was on understanding the underground geological structure examining soil layers, formations, permeability, and natural water retention capacity. *Villages including Ramjhariya, Dumberpath, Polpol Path, and Bhati Path, inhabited by the Asur tribe (PVTG)*, were surveyed extensively. These areas, despite receiving seasonal , suffer from severe due to rapid runoff and poor .
The field visuals clearly depict the challenging topography rocky surfaces, elevated slopes, and sparse water retention zones making conventional water solutions ineffective. Through assessment and on ground validation, our team conducted site inspections, interacted with local , and evaluated existing and failures.
The presence of technical equipment and structured fieldwork highlights that this was not a routine visit but a precision driven geological and hydrological assessment. Each observation contributes to designing location specific interventions under *BHUVANAM PANI KI KHETI* , ensuring that water is not just sourced, but stored and recharged within the .
This second phase marks a significant step forward from exploration to evidence based implementation planning. It strengthens our mission to provide long term water security in one of the most water stressed yet ecologically sensitive regions of .
The journey continues with a clear vision: to transform these dry into self sustaining water , empowering communities with resilience, dignity, and a secure future.
