CMPDI Reviews Drilling Progress and Exploration Strategy at RI-VI, Singrauli

Shri Badal Manna, Regional Director, CMPDI, RI-VI, Singrauli, along with Shri Binod Kumar, GM(Mining), TS Department, CMPDI(HQ) and Exploration officials of RI-VI visited the drilling sites at Sarai West Block, Dudhamania and Tipajharia Coal Block on 29th–30th September, 2026.

The team reviewed ongoing drilling activities, explored measures to enhance drilling productivity and discussed operational challenges and exploration strategies. Emphasis was placed on improved planning, coordination and efficient utilisation of resources to achieve the FY 2026–27 drilling and exploration targets.

Dignitaries also interacted with employees of the Singrauli Exploration Camps and the MECL team at Tipajharia, appreciating their efforts and discussing field-level challenges.

The visit reaffirmed CMPDI’s commitment to accelerating exploration, strengthening drilling performance and achieving operational targets.

CMPDI Observes Gandhi Jayanti Across Regional Institutes

CMPDI observed Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2026 across its Regional Institutes with reverence and respect, commemorating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and reflecting on his enduring ideals of truth, non-violence, simplicity, self-reliance and cleanliness.

Across the Regional Institutes, programmes were organised with floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, followed by participation of officers and employees in paying their respects.

As part of the occasion, Swachhata Pledge was also undertaken at the Regional Institutes, reaffirming the collective commitment towards maintaining cleanliness in workplaces and surrounding areas and contributing to the vision of a cleaner and healthier India.
