Today's incident, we were outing with a few friends at a place called Khandho( about 20 km away from the town of Rewa) everything was normal but then a few girls came and started drinking and smoking at a place they found suitable for themselves a few friends teased that the fragrance in the air is getting us high but no one cared much suddenly a few phoney young boys came and tried to get as closer as they could (to the place where these girls were drinking) and started making dumb comments, silly gestures followed by even dumber bike stunts and yelled at each other. It might not have had made any serious impact on the people there as no one seemed to notice, we were disturbed. We didn't know how to respond as the girls didn't seem reacting I approached a few people sitting there to know where abouts and they were like bhiya ye local hain aise hi chutiyapa karte hain, koi kuchh bole to marne pitne par utar aate hain. In the mean time I saw my friends returning with a faded smile and in agony, frustration. Yet again a case of toxic masculinity. Although there were a lot of groups doing the same acts as those girls were but no one interfered with them because they were males thus making those girls an easy target.
