On the special occasion of Vishwakarma Day a Yoga & Blood Donation camp was organized on 17th September, 2015.
To spread awareness for a healthy life a unique opportunity was provided to all yoga enthusiasts to attend a yoga camp with Yogacharya Shri Ajab Singh Ji from Patanjali Yogpeeth.
This was a great source of attraction & inspiration & many people attended the Yoga Camp.
Shri Ajab Singh Ji informed about the importance of Yoga Asanas in daily routine by telling how yogic exercise recharges the body with the cosmic energy & helps to reduce stress levels by providing peace of mind which is very important for a smooth life & thereby paved way for a healthier & positive life.
The asanas practiced in the yoga camp were a boon to the participants to control many diseases & the main focus was on how to control the major health problems such as Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Arthritis & Stress. The people present were also informed about the effective & ayurvedic treatment of Dengue prevailing these days.
All the employees along with Mr. Jagdeep Chauhan (Managing Director EAPRO) took part in the Yoga Session. Mr. Chauhan addressed the people present regarding the importance of yoga for active & healthy life. He mentioned that “Yoga facilitates to attain perfect equilibrium & harmony, promotes self-healing, removes negative blocks from mind, helps in attempting focus & concentration making the body flexible which is especially important for the lifestyle we have these days.
Later in the day a Blood Donation Camp was organized to contribute towards the society & to bring smiles to many faces by saving lives.
Mr. Jagdeep Chauhan & Mrs. Abhilasha Chauhan made their gracious presence & voluntarily came up to donate blood.
Mrs. Abhilasha Chauhan said “It feels great to participate in the event. I being a rare group donor (O-) felt the urge to donate blood as it is required by many. We are happy to conduct such a drive & are quite surprised to see the response. She further added that with increase in population & development of advanced medical & surgical procedures, the need for blood is ever increasing. Only voluntary blood donors can help to maintain an adequate supply of blood to save the lives of those who are in need. Therefore, we wish to conduct many such events in future”.
The efficient staff of Himalyan Hospital Dehradun helped us to conduct this event in our company. The camp was organized in a much disciplined manner taking immense care to meet the requirements of the donors after donating the blood.
