Akshaya Urza has recently installed 3.5 KVA roof top solar solar systems & solar water heaters of 200 ltrs. If there is anyone having normal inverter & battery; they can convert the system to Solar system just by adding Solat Panels & charge controllers/ SMU. It will cost you Rs 20,000/- approximately. While installing Solar Power System it is necessary to calculate your load & duration of use. You also have to take duration of sunlight ( Solar Radition) into consideration besides geographical position of your place. Other factors affecting the efficiency of your system are efficiency of Solar Panel,Type & no of solar panels, No of Arrays & of course type of cable you use . Hence while use of Solar Power is the best solution of Electric power, Installation of it by right person is necessary.
