Position1 : Welding Inspector / Inspection Engineer
Years of Experience: 10+ years’ experience
Education Qualification: BE / Diploma
Technical Qualification: CSWIP 3.1 / NACE L2 & ASNT L2
Locations: kattupalli Chennai (Onshore)
Experience or Knowledge at offshore project inspection of 8 leg jackets *2 + Living Quarters

Roles and responsibilities:
• Conducted welding inspection and surveillance for offshore fabrication of 8-leg jacket structures and Living Quarters (LQ) in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project requirements.
• Inspected fit-up, welding parameters, joint preparation, preheating, interpass temperature, welding sequence, and visual weld quality for structural and piping welds.
• Verified WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, consumables, welding machines, and traceability prior to and during welding activities.
• Coordinated and witnessed NDT activities including UT, MT, PT, and RT, reviewed NDT reports, and ensured compliance with applicable acceptance criteria.
• Prepared and maintained inspection reports, weld maps, punch lists, NCRs, and final quality documentation, supporting completion and handover of offshore jacket and Living Quarters fabrication.

Roles and responsibilities:
• Supervised equipment installation and alignment as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinated with piping and structural teams for proper equipment connections and supports.
• Checked equipment foundation, anchor bolts, platforms, and access arrangements.
• Monitored site installation activities and resolved equipment-related technical issues.
• Coordinated with QA/QC and construction teams for inspection, testing, and final handover.

Position 2: Piping & Structure Engineer

• Reviewed piping layouts, isometric drawings, structural drawings, and equipment interface details.

• Coordinated with civil, mechanical, piping, and structural teams to resolve site interface issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Conduct on-site inspection of scrap materials to verify grade, type, quantity, and condition as per client requirements.
* Identify and segregate different types of scrap materials such as MS, Alloy, SS, Non-Ferrous, etc.
* Check scrap materials for contamination, mixing, foreign materials, and other quality issues.
* Perform visual inspection and basic verification of scrap quality before loading, dispatch, or purchase approval.
* Verify the quantity/weight of scrap materials and ensure proper documentation.
* Capture photographs of the inspected materials and site conditions.
* Prepare detailed inspection reports covering weight verification, material condition, photographs, and site observations.
* Coordinate with scrap yard personnel, vendors, and client representatives** during inspection activities.
* Ensure inspection activities are carried out in accordance with client requirements and project procedures
* Report any discrepancies, non-conformities, or material identification issues to the concerned client representative.
* Maintain accurate inspection records and submit reports within the required timeframe.

• Position1 : Corrosion Engineer– 3 No’s
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certification Requirement: NACE Specialist certification is preferable
• Year of Exp: Minimum 15 years relevant experience preferably in the Oil & Gas or similar process industry.
• Mobilization: Immediate availability required

Project Mandatory Requirements:
• Offshore Experience required.
• Oil & Gas In-Service Experience: Mandatory
• Thorough knowledge, formal training, and experience with relevant international Codes & Standards including but not limited to NACE, ASTM, ISO, API 571, API 580, and Risk Based Equipment Strategy processes.
• n-depth knowledge in material selection (metallic & non-metallic materials), corrosion principles, metallurgy and welding, corrosion protection, corrosion management, pipeline inspection and maintenance, integrity of static equipment, cathodic protection and coating systems.

• Position 2 : Cathodic Protection (CP) Inspector
• Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Year of Exp: 7 years of CP experience for Degree holders or10 years of CP experience for Diploma holders.
• Experience in CP monitoring in Operating plant, commissioning & trouble shooting of different CP systems.

Experience with:
• Conduct CP monitoring and performance assessment in operating plants.
• Perform commissioning and testing of various Cathodic Protection (CP) systems.
• Troubleshoot CP system faults and identify root causes of performance issues.
• Monitor CP potentials, rectifier outputs, anode performance, and system parameters.
• Carry out CP surveys, inspections, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure CP systems comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and safety requirements.
