Hey Guys!!!
Since the onset of WFH, I have interviewed over 7000 candidates for various profiles. Here are a few pointers I have Listed for you to get a better result from the virtual interview platform and also help the interviewer focus on YOU and not the rest.

Interview Etiquettes
1. Please read the job profile and description carefully before sitting for the interview.
2. Please turn off your camera and be on mute when you are in Group Discussion/ only turn ON your video when asked by the interviewer.
3. Please ensure that your device is at half arm distance and parallel to your eye level. (We prefer not looking into your nostrils 😊)
4. Please make sure that the light source (bulb/window) is Infront of you not behind.
5. DO NOT use Bluetooth headphones/wired headphones advised or use the system mic. (Most wireless headphones causes latency when giving interview in teams)
6. Do not sit for an interview in public place/such candidates are expected to reschedule the interview. DXC will not conduct interviews if the candidates surrounding is unfavorable for the interview.
7. If the candidate reads from the internet or is taking help it’s a direct reject.
8. We don’t expect you to dress formally but please appear presentable for the video interview.
9. Please speak slowly and clearly. (The objective is to understand you)
10. If you are unable to hear the interviewer or vice versa please disconnect and re-join the interview.
11. Make sure you are at a place where the internet connectivity is good.
Look for a plain background/ wall for the video interview
