SILENT EVENING WITH A LAST NOTE

Uvi driving his car and Khyrat was sitting beside him. The song selection seemed to be perfectly suited for that silent evening --- emotional songs that Khyrat and Uvi could relate to --- and they were listening without saying anything.

Uvi broked the silence by saying,"I wil drop you at your home".
"Can't we spent some quality time together like we used to", Khyrat asked in a low tone as she was knowing that it's the last time they are together.
"Sorry, I have to go somewhere. So, I can't", Uvi replied.
Looking towards him "Uvi, I know you don't want me in your life now. I will never disturb you ag*in. Will stay away from you forever but please at least spent this evening with me" Khyrat pleaded with so much pain in her heart.
She was looking so weak, so dull, heartbroken that anyone could say how much stressed she is but Uvi was so busy and happy in his new love life that he couldn't see the pain she was in. Still Khyrat had a hidden glimmer of hope somewhere though she had a clear indication it was over.
"Ok! Fine", Uvi replied with no care.
Khyrat smiled, but deep inside she was dying. Nobody can see the love of his life with someone else.
This time the Phone vibration broke the silence. Uvi stopped the car and received phone call. On the other side of phone call, it was his new girlfriend for whom he left Khyrat to die. They talked for a while.
Khyrat didn't say anything as she was aware that Uvi don't care about her now. So, she decided not to spoil their last meeting and remained silent.
Why is it that the people you care about the most end up making you feel so meaningless?
'Pehle kabhi na tune mujhe gham diya
Phir mujhe kyun tanha kar diya

Hamesha tujhe apna maan ke
To phir tune badli kyun ada
Yeh kyun kiya'...
Khyrat was trying so hard to hide her emotions but with each passing moment it gets difficult for her to control. To stop her tears from shedding, she spoke out loud "roko roko"...
"What happen?" Uvi casually asked.
"Bealpoori khani hai", Khyrat replied with a smile at her face.
She don't actually want it. She just wanted some special moments with him which brings smile at her face whenever she will remind those moments in future.
They both shared Bealpoori. Without speaking to each other, they left the place.
Khyrat can feel that Uvi has changed now. And this change of Uvi is killing Khyrat from inside. He is not Khyrat's Uvi now. She didn't know what life had in store for her; she just wanted to tell the world how much she loved Uvi.
Khyrat broke the silence by saying,"let's have ice cream".
Uvi stopped the car near ice cream parlour.
"Which flavour do you like to have"? Uvi asked.
"The one which you like", Khyrat replied.
Uvi went to buy the ice cream.
The reason for which Khyrat asked Uvi to buy ice cream was "THE LAST NOTE". Khyrat put her last note at the back seat of Uvi's car.
'When I met you, i thought it would last forever. I never thought that there would be a moment in our lives when we would part ways. You showed me lots of dreams. I started falling for you and with each passing day my love for you goes deeper and deeper as I thought you truely love me, you honestly want to spend your whole life with me, you cared for me. But at the end moment after 7 years, you left me alone, ruined my life, broke me into pieces that no one can help me to recover now. You made fun of me in front of your friends, your new girlfriend. You all laughed at me, you played with my feelings. I remained silent. Why did you do that?
I die thousand times every minute by thinking how could you see me in such a pain. You know it's only you who can heal my wounds but you don't want to.
Uvi, not even a single moment goes by where I don't think about the way in which you hurt and betrayed me. I tried a lot not to think about it but the pain runs so deep. You, the one person I never thought would hurt and betray me is the one who hurt me the most. Writing this brings tears to my eyes, seven years of being in a relationship with you and being in love has all ended. Yes, we had some tough times in the relationship but if you really love someone, how can you easily walk away? You walked away without looking back. Do you know the pain I felt when I found out the truth?
I miss you terribly. I loved you with my all but yet you hurt me so bad. Smile Uvi, you won, you succeed in taking revenge. I always thought our relationship would last forever. But you lied, cheated and broke all the promises. Uvi, What was my fault? One day you are going to wake up and realise how much I loved you, but I will not be by your side. One day you'll realise how much I have done for you and how much you have taken me for granted. One day you will definitely miss the time we spend together. I am leaving you, not because I have stopped loving you but because I don't want a husband like you. Bye forever. I wish you a good luck.'
Uvi, with vanilla flavour ice cream in his hands went inside the car. After having half ice cream, Khyrat asked Uvi, "can we exchange the ice cream"? Without saying anything he did so.
Khyrat smiled silently...
They reached near the bank of the lake.
They both rested on one of the benches, at a distance from each other.
Uvi was busy in chatting with his new girlfriend. Khyrat was silent, feeling the strong breeze of wind which blew their face, watching the shores of the lake. It's a perfect place for true lovers to spent time here, she thought.
Khyrat wished to listen, "I love you from Yuvi like he before used to say". Wished him to hold her hand and say, "Khyrat, sorry for everything what I did, I am all your's. I love you Khyrat". But not every wish of your's come true. So was the Khyrat's wish. Uvi didn't say anything as he has moved on, he doesn't love her anymore, he has forgotten 7 years which they spend together.
"Hey look at the sunset, it looks so perfect, so beautiful", Uvi said excitedly.
"Hmmm", Khyrat whispered.
"Can we click some pics together", Khyrat stammered, looking in his eyes.
"Yaa, sure", Uvi replied.
He asked a guy there, would you please click our picture?
"Sure, why not"? The guy replied.
After clicking few pictures together, Uvi asked Khyrat, "we should leave now as its getting too late".
"Few more minutes I want to be here", Khyrat softly replied. She wished the time could stop, wanted to freeze that moment.
After few minutes they left the place, where she lived her life, where she will never come ag*in, where she lost the love of her life.
When we are in love, it feels like it will last forever. We put all our trust in the person we are in love with and share our darkest secrets with them too. But there comes a time when you have to take a decision ag*inst your choice, even when you're not at fault.

Her eyes filled with tears. Now, she can't hold her emotions as they had only few minutes left together. Breaking a girl's heart is a way worse than we think is to be. It destroys everything- her future relationship, her ability to love and trust someone, and her inner peace and calm. Khyrat silently shed tears.
Uvi was busy in driving, there was no concern for her.
Don't cry, let's say goodbye to each other happily, were Uvi's words.
Khyrat was about to reach home.
"I am not a drama queen. After all the love I gave you, heartbreak is the gift that you gave me. Thanks Uvi! Goodbye! ", and she left the car with so many things left unsaid.
That silent evening left her broken forever.
