"F*ck happiness", is what Alex Hormozi shared on his podcast with Tony Robbins.
That’s been his motto on his path to success.
While living in grind mode certainly can get you far. The real question is...AT WHAT COST? 🤷🏼♀️
What are you willing to give up to "succeed"?
Alex talked about building everything through duty, sacrifice, suffering - living almost entirely in his head. Grinding 24/7 because that’s what he’s good at…and the only thing he really enjoys.
That philosophy has gotten him FAR, but at what cost?
He has millions in the bank, the largest book launch of all time, and endless accolades…but he’s still missing the one thing that truly matters...
👉 Fulfillment.
He shared that donating millions still feels disconnected. Flat. Hollow. Like, what’s the point?
This way of building success is not sustainable.
At some point, even as the GOAT, you hit a wall. Where more work doesn’t do it anymore, the achievement doesn’t land, and you can’t keep going without something deeper.
I’ve seen this again and again with high achievers and successful entrepreneurs, myself included.
We’re taught that success lives outside of us. The money. The freedom. The impact. But we’re not taught how to feel it. How to let it land. How to actually receive what we’ve built. 🤦🏼♀️
So we get ‘there’…and realize that while we’ve been so busy changing lives, creating & proving ourselves, we’ve lost ourselves in the process.
We get so wrapped up in the work that we forget the other parts of life that make it meaningful.
We stop feeling. We stop receiving. We stop enjoying what we worked so hard to create - or we never learned how in the first place.
Oftentimes, we stay stuck on the high-achieving hamster wheel, chasing the next thing, without ever pausing to ask:
Why am I doing this?
What does this actually give my life?
Where’s the joy?
That’s why I’m so passionate about supporting high achievers in creating success that feels as good as it looks. Success that’s actually sustainable. Where impact can keep growing, AND you get to feel your life while you’re living it.
Because no amount of achievement will ever replace fulfillment.
Success isn’t the problem.
Building at the expense of yourself is. 💯
You don’t have to choose between achievement & aliveness, impact & inner peace, or success & yourself.
But you do have to slow down long enough to ask…
What is all of this actually for? 🤔
