Surya Yanthra

Description:

బిందు త్రికోణ వృత్తంచ షట్కోణం వృత్త యుగ్మకమ్ ౹
వసుకోణం తథావృత్తం ద్వాదశారం తథైవచ ॥
భూపుర త్రయం ఇతి సూర్య యంత్రం విధీయతే ౹

It means to Draw a Surya yanthra in centre a dot to represent the main deity lord Surya and then a traingle, a circle around that triangle and then six triangles in criss cross direction and then two circles around that six triangles, then again 8 triangles heading their sharp edges towards 8 directions and then a circle and 12 Lotus petals need to be drawn in 12 directions and finally 3 circles need to be drawn...

According to ancient hindu texts to get the blessings of Lord Surya ( SUN ) Namaskaras need to be offered with the Hymns in Rigveda ( Tricha and Maha Souram and Arunam from Yajurveda .. before performing Namaskara previously descripted Surya yantra need to drawn in a new Copper plate using Red sandal poweder and then have to perform Yantra puja and Arghya Pradana ( Offering Water mixed with Durva Grass, Sesame , Red sandal powder and red flowers ) by reciting hymns from Rigveda and have to perform Namaskara..
