Old post about how to setup Puja Mandir or God's Altar in the North East zone.
If you have placed your puja mandir or planning to place it in the North East zone of your home then read on :
🌸 Mandir/unit should be wooden or of white marble. Wood polish should be in white, cream or light brown shades.
🌸 Use any shades of blue, cream, ivory, white, silver, green colour cloth to place the idols or photos.
🌸 Use only brass/clay lamps or diyas. Do not use silver and copper diyas.
🌸 Avoid akhand jyoti here.
🌸 Always keep a small copper kalash/tumbler filled with water in the puja mandir. Next day drink it as tirth/ sprinkle it all over the house.
🌸 Avoid any form of red, dark brown, too much of yellow colour here.
🌸 Worshipping Shiv Parivaar in the North East zone is highly recommended.
