Total CTC: ₹10,00,000
Company structure (old way):

Basic Salary: ₹3,00,000 (30%)

HRA: ₹1,50,000

Special Allowance: ₹4,00,000

Other Allowances: ₹1,50,000

👉 Basic is only 30%, company keeps it low to reduce PF & gratuity.

⭐ After New Labour Code (50% Rule)

Total CTC: ₹10,00,000
Basic Salary must be at least 50% → ₹5,00,000

So new structure becomes:

Basic Salary: ₹5,00,000 (50%)

HRA: ₹2,50,000

Special Allowance: ₹1,50,000

Other Allowances: ₹1,00,000

👉 Allowances together cannot exceed 50% of CTC.

1️⃣ PF Contribution Increases

PF = 12% of Basic

Old PF (Basic ₹3,00,000): ₹36,000/year

New PF (Basic ₹5,00,000): ₹60,000/year
➡️ ₹24,000 extra PF every year → big retirement corpus.

2️⃣ Gratuity Increases

Gratuity = (15/26 × Basic × Years of Service)

Old Basic: ₹3,00,000 → Lower gratuity

New Basic: ₹5,00,000 → Higher gratuity
