I had the privilege of visiting the tribal settlement of Raman Raja Mannan at Kozhimala, Idukki, alongside the State Disability Commissioner, Prof. Dr. P. T. Babu Raj.

Our mission was clear to spread awareness about the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act. It was an honor to discuss inclusive rights within the unique cultural framework of the Mannan community. Inclusion is not just a policy; it’s a right that must reach every corner of our society.

Learning, Earning, and Returning: The Journey of B.S. Nagesh

It was an honor to learn more about Mr. B.S. Nagesh, a true pioneer who transformed how India shops. Often called the father of modern Indian retail, he was the first employee at Shoppers Stop and led it to become a household name.

What inspires me most isn't just his corporate success, but his commitment to "returning." After 25 years of learning and 25 years of earning, he dedicated his life to social impact by founding TRRAIN (Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India).

Through TRRAIN, he is giving dignity and skills to the frontline heroes of retail—especially women and persons with disabilities. His recent book, SERVE, is a beautiful reminder that business is most powerful when it comes from the heart.

A true leader who proves that success is measured by the lives we touch! 🌟
