Scientific Officer

Location :-
• Institute Location: Trivandrum Kerala
• Location Preferred: Kerala (Candidates from other regions willing to relocate may also be considered.)

Qualifications :-
* Essential: M.Sc. Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Food Technology, etc.).
• Desirable: Prior experience (1-3 years) in a research laboratory or industry setting, preferably with hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, Food Processing, or analytical instrument operation.

Salary & Compensation :-
• Salary: Industry Standard (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)
• Benefits: research incentives, and professional development opportunities.

🧪 Key Responsibilities:-

Research & Lab Ex*****on
* Plan, perform, and document experiments as per PI guidelines
* Techniques: PCR, qPCR, Gel Electrophoresis, Western Blot, ELISA, microbiological assays
* Support Food Science & Technology projects

Laboratory Management
* Maintain equipment, chemicals, and reagents
* Ensure safety & quality compliance (GLP/GCLP)
* Assist in food testing workflow

Data & Reporting
* Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data
* Prepare reports, assist manuscripts, and contribute to grant proposals

Scientific & Business Outreach
* Travel for conferences and workshops
* Support B2B interactions, contract research coordination,
technology transfer, and food product development activities

✨ Soft Skills
* Strong communication (English & Malayalam preferred)
* Analytical thinking & problem-solving
* Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
* Ability to work independently and within a diverse research team.
