Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd and Greenstar Fertilizers Limited successfully organized the “Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign 2026 from 17th to 30th September 2026 across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, and Maharashtra. A total of 189 events were conducted at high-traffic hubs and local community locations, reaching an estimated 1,63,500+ people.

Through initiatives such as Swachhchata Hi Sewa, Kabaad Se Kala, Khel & Khel Bhawana, Samvad, and Gyan Yatra, the campaign promoted cleanliness, water conservation, environmental protection, sustainable practices, fitness, responsible citizenship, and the spirit of Sewa and Jan-Bhagidari.

The campaign also actively engaged the public, particularly the younger generation, through awareness marches, informative banners, slogan placards, and community activities, thereby strengthening awareness and encouraging collective responsibility towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment.

Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd (S**C) and Greenstar Fertilizers Limited, in collaboration with the Department of Fertilizers, Government of India, successfully organized the Urvarak Ki Pathshala campaign across 9 states—Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

Recognizing that sustainable agriculture begins with healthy soil, our marketing team engaged with farmers through village-level meetings, spot demonstrations, and dedicated farmer training programs. These initiatives focused on empowering farmers to make informed decisions on scientific fertilizer use, balanced nutrient management, and sustainable soil health practices.

Excessive and imbalanced fertilizer application can adversely impact soil health and the environment. Through the Urvarak Ki Pathshala initiative, farmers were encouraged to adopt soil-test-based nutrient management and responsible fertilizer practices for protecting soil health, enhance farm sustainability, and build resilient farming communities.

In yet another stride towards agricultural transformation, S**C and Greenstar Fertilizers successfully hosted a mega Viksit Bharat awareness event on September 17, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on the theme, "Prosperous Farmer, for a Developed India." The event was hosted across 221 high-traffic dealer hubs to reach over 43,800 + individuals. Continuing our efforts to build strong advocacy for the PMKSK mission, our marketing teams engaged with visiting progressive farmers at dealer hubs and utilized illuminated street-level standee banners for publicity.

This initiative mirrors the blueprint laid out by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, spotlighting the pivotal role of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSK) as comprehensive, single-window ecosystems for the farming community. Envisioned as holistic command centers for rural prosperity, the PMKSK network bridges critical gaps by delivering high-grade fertilizers at nominal rates, elite certified seeds, and trusted crop protection solutions under one roof.

Driven by a commitment towards ecological balance, this pioneering initiative transforms modern agriculture by integrating advanced soil-testing protocols and real-time agronomic guidance into everyday farming.

Recently, Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd and its co-existent entity, Greenstar Fertilizers, conducted the Urvarak Ki Pathshala campaign. Urvarak Ki Pathshala is a special awareness campaign launched by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. As part of the campaign, Petrochemical Industries Corporation (S**C) and Greenstar Fertilizers organised a number of awareness sessions aimed at:
> Promoting balanced nutrient application through the right NPK ratio and Soil Health Cards.
