Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) FGI - An Apex Industries Association (Chamber of Commerce) in Gujarat founded in the year 1918.

The Federation of Gujarat Industries was founded in the year 1918, in the erstwhile Baroda State, under the progressive rule of Shrimant Sayajirao Gaekwad III, who encouraged social reforms and industrial development to modernize Baroda. FGI, now in its 104th Year is one of the oldest active and socially conscious Industrial Associations in the country. The Federation of Gujarat Industries aims at

promoting, protecting and projecting the interest of industries and also catering to the needs of the community at large. FGI has been working pro-actively in the overall interest of Business & Industry sector of Gujarat and continues to move forward with time, keeping pace with modernization & reforms, ushering progress and prosperity of the State’s economy. Today marked an important milestone in strengthening industrial and economic engagement between Gujarat and the Republic of Korea.

The Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) and the Chungcheongnam-do Economic Promotion Agency (CEPA), Republic of Korea, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the FGI Business Centre, Vadodara. The partnership focuses on advancing trade, investment, technology exchange and MSME development.

The signing ceremony brought together Mr. Seungchang Ha, Chief Representative, CEPA; Ms. Bandita Boro, Marketing Manager, CEPA; and Mr. Shravan Kumar, Marketing Manager, CEPA, alongside Mr. Sameer Khera, President, FGI; Mr. Pranav Doshi, Senior Vice President, FGI; and Ms. Priyanka Verma, Deputy Secretary General, FGI.

With this MoU, FGI and CEPA take a step towards deeper business engagement, greater technology and knowledge exchange, and new opportunities for collaboration between Gujarat and the Republic of Korea.
