The main aim of United Way of Baroda is to develop sharing and caring attitude amongst fellow citizens and to provide funding to worthy non-profit organizations. Baroda is working incessantly for funds allocation to several NGOs along with training in different aspects of NGO management, resource mobilization as well as mobilization of individual volunteers. United Way of Baroda has also presented and is implementing some innovative ideas such as 2-Way Benefit Card and Gold Card (for Senior Citizens). They offer a variety of services, at your doorstep, essential in today’s fast-paced living, but often difficult or expensive for the ordinary citizen.

A Step Towards Safe Water & Sustainable Living

Access to clean and safe drinking water is not just a necessity — it is a foundation for healthier and stronger communities. In a significant stride towards sustainability and community wellbeing, a 750-litre Solar Powered RO Water ATM was inaugurated at Sangma Village, Taluka Padra, District Vadodara, benefiting more than 3,500 community members. 🙌

Powered by solar energy, this initiative stands as a meaningful example of how technology and sustainability can come together to create lasting social impact. The project not only ensures the availability of purified drinking water for the community but also promotes environmentally responsible practices through the reuse of wastewater generated during the purification process for watering plants and greenery. 🌿💧

This initiative reflects a shared commitment towards public health, environmental stewardship, and sustainable rural development — empowering communities with resources that are both accessible and future-focused.

Celebrating dreams, determination, and academic excellence.✨

United Way of Baroda proudly felicitated 128 meritorious students from its educational initiatives, including Mission Shiksha, Shikhar Science Scholarship Program, and the Umang Scholarship Project, in recognition of their outstanding performance in board examinations. Students securing above 80% were specially honoured for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment towards education.

The felicitation ceremony brought together students, parents, mentors, and supporters in a moment of pride and encouragement, reflecting the transformative power of education and the importance of nurturing young talent. The event served as a platform to motivate students to continue striving towards their aspirations and building a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

As part of the celebration and encouragement initiative, students were presented with school bags, educational supplies, refreshments, and certificates of recognition for their achievements.

Through continuous efforts in the field of education since 2005, United Way of Baroda remains committed to empowering young minds, supporting academic aspirations, and creating opportunities for students to achieve their fullest potential.

Empowering abilities, enabling independence, and creating opportunities for a brighter future. ♿✨

Under the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of Voltamp Transformers Limited, in collaboration with United Way of Baroda, essential assistive equipment and livelihood enhancement support were provided to differently abled individuals with the vision of promoting accessibility, dignity, self-reliance, and inclusive growth.

Following a detailed need assessment, customized mobility aids, assistive devices, and livelihood support tools were distributed based on the specific requirements of each beneficiary.

Through this meaningful intervention, 51 beneficiaries received support aimed at improving mobility, strengthening livelihood opportunities, enhancing confidence, and fostering greater social inclusion.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment towards building an inclusive and empowered society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive with dignity and independence. 🌱🤝
