OMKAR EPOXY ZINC RICH PRIMER

OMKAR EPOXY ZINC RICH PRIMER is a two pack Epoxy base Polyamide cured primer with Zinc dust pigment 85% formulated for
application on mild steel sheets, pipes and industrial steel structures, utilized as shop coat primer or permanent primer
coat. It offers high of protection against resistance and severe corrosive conditions in industrial area and typical marine
corrosion.. The coating has excellent recoatability and can be over coated even after 6months of exposure.
Recommended to use for all interior & exterior exposed conditions. Also workable as shop primer.
USE
Suitable for protection of steel structure in aggressive coastal and industrial atmosphere.

OMKAR ETCH PRIMER :
Omkar Etch Primer is a two pack air drying primer based on Polyvinyl Butyral resin and Zinc Tet Roxy Chromate
pigment. It is Quick Drying Primer recommended generally, non-ferrous substrates as well as for ferrous
substrates as per the requirements. It also meets the IS-5666 specification.
FEATURES :
- Excellent adhesion to substrates like steel, aluminum etc.
- Can be used for successive layer build up.
- Two pack cold cure as well as stoving possible at 85-100ºC./15 minutes
- Easy to apply and fast curing characteristics.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove grease, oil and other contaminants preferably by using Degreasing Chemicals. Special care must be
taken on weld areas to remove flux and spatter. Welds should be ground back to avoid pockets where corrosion
can occur. Alloys which can oxidize be cleaned to remove loose particles, if any.
The cleaned surface should be coated before it becomes contaminated.
