Bus station
Year: 2008
A Pentagonal Pause Along the Path of MotionIn the design of this bus stop, the pentagonal form was not merely an aesthetic choice it was an architectural response to the need for dynamism, directionality, and cohesion. Extruded along the horizontal axis, the five sided geometry forms a space that, despite its simplicity, evokes rhythm and movement as if the stop is not a place of rest, but a point for recalibrating the tempo of motion.
The benches, too, are shaped by the same language: angular, faceted, yet welcoming. They echo the form of the station itself, creating a dialogue between section, volume, and function a poetic balance between mass and moment.
Here, architecture is not just a physical shelter;it becomes a statement of order, speed, and reflection in the heart of a moving city.
