Thanks to all who attended and celebrated with us and the Startup Reykjavík teams. We danced the night away with Bjartar Sveiflur & had a blast 💥💃

Investor Night was held at Iðnó with a Carnival twist on Friday 16th of August. A full house at the biggest startup party of the year in Iceland.

We had an amazing end to Startup Reykjavík last Friday with our annual Investor Day. Congratulations batch of 2019 🚀

Startup Reykjavík's Investor Day took place for the eight time on August 16th at Arion banki. The program's 10 teams pitched for a room of 180 persons among them investors and leading industry influencers.
It was an honor to welcome Guðni Th. Jóhanneson again, the President of Iceland, to speak at the Investor Day as well as having Benedikt Gíslason CEO of Arion Bank with us. This year we had a new format where we invited a panel of investors on stage to challenge the startups with in depth discussion in front of the audience. The panel of investors this year were our keynote speaker Alex Zhigarev partner at Speedinvest, among Magda Lukazewicz Investment Associate at Balderton Capital and Rünno Allikivi from Funderbeam.
We want to thank all the teams that participated in the 10 week Startup Reykjavík accelerator, the over 80 mentors that generously shared their time with the teams and all those that held lectures, created discussions and trainings for the teams of the program.
At last thanks to all those that attended our open events over the summer. It's obvious that the startup community in Iceland is filled with talented, passionate and energetic group of people that are determined to make the most out of their potential.

Það er að verða algengara og algengara að fólk kaupi sér föt í gegnum netið👗💻 Vandamálið er þó að fólk fær ekki sömu aðstoð í netverslun og þegar það gengur inn í fataverslun. Rebutia einfaldar fólki fatakaup í gegnum netið með því að nota gervigreind til þess að hjálpa viðskiptavinum sínum að finna sinn fatastíl.

// It’s getting more and more common that people buy clothes through the internet👗💻 One problem is that people do not get the same assistance when they shop on the internet as they would get in retail stores. Rebutia makes shopping for clothes on the internet easier by using artificial intelligence to help their customers find their own style.
