Edda believes that empowered women make great leaders and thus puts emphasis
on guiding her clients to base their decisions on their values. "Through my background in human rights I found that responsible management is the way forward. The world needs empowered, responsible leaders that have the courage to change the world." I strongly believe that by empowering women financially we will see a paradigm shift occur on the world stage. Women make up for 52% of the worlds population. Yet, only 7% of the worlds riches are formally in the hands of women. Let's change that together! It is estimated that female business owners will create 5,5 million jobs in the US alone by 2018. Now that is big! In fact one in five companies in the US with revenues of 1 million dollars or more are owned by women. Research has shown that having women in leadership positions increases the bottom line. The results of an analysis of Fortune 500 companies shows that companies with the highest number of women in leadership positions, delivered 34% higher total return to shareholders than the comparison companies that had the lowest number of women in leadership positions.
